Businesses, government entities, and people like you work with us globally to keep trash out of landfills or from incineration. Through collaboration and innovation, they've developed the world's first solutions in everything from recycling to reuse.

AGLANTA

This is a good example of Human-Centered Design (Sphere 2) and System-Wide Innovation & Collaboration/Collective Impact (Sphere 3). 

AgLanta: AgLanta.org serves as a portal to learn, share, and celebrate ways we can collectively cultivate the urban ag community in Atlanta. 

BRAC

BRAC: BRAC's mission is to empower people and communities in situations of poverty, illiteracy, disease and social injustice. Their interventions aim to achieve large scale, positive changes through economic and social programmes that enable women and men to realise their potential.

PlasticBank: We Can Empower a Regenerative Society.
By collecting, recycling, and reprocessing ocean-bound plastic waste – and supporting collector communities along the way – we can reduce our need for virgin plastic while creating lasting environmental, social and economic impact.

VISIONSPRING

VisionSpring: Eyeglasses are a powerful social and economic development tool. VisionSpring provides affordable eyeglasses, vision screening and training so that non-profits, social entrepreneurs, government agencies, and corporate clients can bring the wonder of clear vision to their communities.

JAIPUR RUGS

This is a good example of Social Enterprise 

(Sphere 4).

Jaipur Rugs: When everyone reaches their full potential, the entire society is uplifted. Following this vision, in 2004  Jaipur Rugs Foundation (JRF) was founded. Its mandate is reaching out to remote rural areas and establish bonds with the village communities, so that they can start weaving not only rugs but also their own lives.
